Daman and Diu , a union territory in western India, comprise two separate areas divided by the Arabian Sea. The coastal town of Daman is traversed by the Daman Ganga River. Diu consists of a small island and a mainland village. To visit Daman, you have three options for transportation: By Train : The nearest railway station is Vapi. From there, you can hire an auto-rickshaw or share a cab to reach Daman. By Bus : Buses from all major cities can be booked online to reach Daman. By Private Vehicle : If you prefer, you can also travel by your own private vehicle. If you opt for public transport, you can rent a bike or an auto for a full day of sightseeing.
